Johnson Named All-New England East by NFHCA
Worcester, MA --- WPI standout field hockey back Kelly Johnson has been selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) New England East Region second team. It marks the second time the senior has been honored as all-region. Johnson was named to the second team as a freshman in 2006. Johnson had the rare distinction of leading WPI this season in both goals (11) and defensive saves (10).

Eight WPI Football Players Take Home All-Liberty League Honors
Canton, NY --- Eight different WPI football players have been recognized by the Liberty League as all-conference performers. Mike Swanton, R.C. Grady, Justin Pollard, Brendan Gove and Ernie Mello earned second team accolades while Aaron Champagne, Stan St. Juste and Jack Mulhern were named honorable mention.

Robinson Powers Men's Basketball to Worcester County Classic Crown
Worcester, MA --- Tournament MVP Jeff Robinson poured in a career-best 29 points to help lead WPI to a 101-64 win over Worcester State to earn their seventh straight Worcester County Classic Monday evening at Harrington Auditorium. It marked the second consecutive night that Robinson hit a new career high in scoring. The junior drained 10 of 20 shots with three 3-pointers after dropping in 28 points in an opening round win over Becker.
