Worcester, MA --- Wednesday's baseball game between WPI and Westfield State has been postponed due to rain and sleet in the Worcester area.  No make-up date has been announced.

The Engineers (7-5) opened their New England schedule with a well-played 2-1 victory over Johnson & Wales on Wednesday.  WPI is scheduled to travel to Springfield on Saturday for a doubleheader in the NEWMAC-opener for both squads. 

Westfield State, the defending MASCAC champions, is 4-5 following its spring break trip to Central Florida.
