Baseball To Host ECAC New England Baseball Championships on Saturday

Centerville, MA --- The WPI baseball team has been selected the top seed in this week's ECAC Division III New England Baseball Tournament. The Engineers earned a first round bye in the six-team single elimination tournament and will host the semifinals and championship game on Saturday, May 9th. WPI will play (#5) Becker, a 8-2 winner on Wednesday against Castleton State, in Saturday's opening game at 9am.
The Crimson and Gray last played in the 2007 ECAC Championships, sweeping a well-played best-of-three series against Suffolk.
