Johnson Named All-New England East by NFHCA
Worcester, MA --- WPI standout field hockey back Kelly Johnson has been selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) New England East Region second team. It marks the second time the senior has been honored as all-region. Johnson was named to the second team as a freshman in 2006. Johnson had the rare distinction of leading WPI this season in both goals (11) and defensive saves (10).

Field Hockey Eliminated by Plymouth State in ECAC Semifinals
Biddeford, ME --- Eighth-seeded Plymouth State University limited fourth-seeded WPI to just three shots and zero penalty corners on its way to a 3-0 shutout in a semifinal round game of the ECAC New England Championship Sunday afternoon at the University of New England. The Engineers end their standout season at 12-7.

Field Hockey's ECAC Semifinal Postponed to Sunday
Worcester, MA --- The ECAC Division III New England Field Hockey semifinals scheduled for Saturday at the University of New England have been postponed due to heavy rain. Fourth-seeded WPI’s semifinal with eighth-seeded Plymouth State will now be played on Sunday at 2:30pm (note new time). Second-seeded University of New England and sixth-seeded Endicott will now tangle at noon on Sunday.
