Worcester, MA --- WPI is proud to host the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament First and Second Rounds this weekend at Harrington Auditorium. 

The tournament will begin with the WPI Regional's first and second round games Friday and Saturday, March 6th and 7th. WPI (20-5) will face Husson (16-11), winners of the North Atlantic Conference Tournament, in its opening round matchup on Friday at 6pm.  The 8pm game features UMass Dartmouth (25-3), winners of the Little East Conference, and Baruch (23-5), a Pool C selection.

The second round game will tip-off Saturday, March 7th at Harrington Auditorium. The winner will move on to the sectionals March 13th and 14th.

Middlebury (24-3), Ithaca (24-2), Texas-Dallas (24-4) and Puget Sound (24-3) each received a bye to the tournament's second round.

Eighth-year head coach Chris Bartley has guided the Engineers to a 20-5 record and the NEWMAC regular season title. It marks the sixth straight 20-win season and sixth straight regular season title for the Engineers. WPI's senior class also set a new conference record for total victories and winning percentage in their career, as the Engineers have now posted a spectacular 42-6 mark (.875) in league play over the last four seasons.

Laundry services will be available to the teams in the championship game for uniforms only.
