Lowell, MA --- Men's Crew raced in their first meet of the season at the Textile River Regatta on Sunday. The men's open four claimed a third place finish (bronze medal) with a time 17:03.915 while the WPI B and WPI A boats rowed to third (15:14.441) and eighth (16:02.988) place finishes, respectively. Rounding out the day were the men's club eight boats of the WPI A crew and the Alumni A crew. WPI A finished in eighth in16:58.467 and the Alumni A boat placed ninth in 17:10.248.

Women's Crew opened up their fall season at the Textile River Regatta in Lowell on Sunday. The WPI B boat and WPI A boat earned sixth (19:59.650) and 12th (21:01.080) place finishes respectively. The women's novice eight rowed to a second place finish with their time of 20:42.846.

Both crew teams will be participating in Alumni events this Saturday on Lake Quinsigamond.
