Men's Crew

Boston, MA --- Men's Crew competed at the 42nd Head of the Charles Regatta as the Men's Collegiate Eight raced to an impressive eighth place finish in a 58 team field. The boat comprised of Neil Lettenberger (Oakland, ME), Connor McGrath (Troy, NY), Scott Gary (Lubbock, TX), Drew Oprea (Hicksville, NY), Andrew Sandefer (New Orleans, LA), Karl Wiegand (Brewster, NY), Tobin McGee (Rye, NY), Berk Birand (Turkey/Pierre Loki) and coxswain Amanda Gagne (Fitchburg, MA) finished in a time of 15:44.579 and earned an automatic qualifier to compete in next year's Head of the Charles Regatta. The Men's Club Eight finished 38th out of 58 boats with a time of 17:49.993.

Men's Crew wraps up their fall season on October 28th when they compete at the Quinsigamond Invitational for Novices.

Women's Crew

Women's Crew competed at the 42nd Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston on Sunday. WPI's Collegiate Eight boat was impressive, finishing in 33rd place in a field of 57 teams with a time of 18:34.887. The members of the boat included Molly Dingle (Charlton, MA), Stephanie Miskell (North Tonawanda, NY), Liz Marcks (Hingham, MA), Amanda Ruksznis (Sidney, ME), Corinne Linderman (Alexandria, VA), Bethany Corliss (Natick, MA), Kyla Bye-Nagle (Hanua, Germany), Katie Siering (Sheridan, OR) and Allison DiNitto (Wakefield, MA).

The race wrapped up the fall season for women's crew who will return to action in the spring.
