Worcester, MA --- Men's Crew began its spring season on Saturday with a third place finish at the Class of 2003 Cup.  The varsity four comprised of Connor McGrath (Troy, NY), Scott Gary (Lubbock, TX), Nick Vitello (Tolland, CT), Andrew Sandefer (New Orelans, LA) and coxswain Bethany Bouchard (Nashua, NH) led the way for WPI defeating Colby and UMass with their time of 7:20.2. 

The varsity eight, featuring McGrath, Gray, Drew Oprea (Hicksville, NY), Berk Birand (Istanbul, Turkey), Vitello, Sandefer, Tobin McGee (Rye, NY), Paul Beckwith (Worcester, MA) and coxswain Amanda Gagne (Fitchburg, MA), rowed to a third place finish with a time of 6:24.18. 

Men's Crew competes for the Donahue Cup on Saturday when they compete against MIT, Williams and Connecticut College.
