Worcester, MA --- On Saturday, Men's Crew competed for the Donahue Cup versus MIT, Williams and Connecticut College on Worcester's Lake Quinsigamond. 

The varsity eight comprised of Connor McGrath (Troy, NY), Scott Gary (Lubbock, TX), Tobin McGee (Rye, NY), Andrew Sandefer (New Orleans, LA), Nick Vitello (Tolland, CT), Paul Beckwith (Worcester, MA), Drew Oprea (Hicksville, NY), Berk Birand (Istanbul, Turkey) and coxswain Amanda Gagne (Fitchburg, MA) rowed the course in 6:11.46 to finish in third place while the second varsity eight finished second with their time of 6:33.77.  The novice four placed second (7:12.52) and rounding out the day was the varsity four placing in fifth. 

On Sunday WPI rowed in snow, sleet and rain versus Bates and URI.  The varsity eight put together an outstanding race to take first place with their time of 6:26.6.  The second varsity eight earned a second place finish (6:36.70) while the third varsity eight placed third (7:21.54). 

Men's Crew returns to action on April 21st when they compete against Trinity, Bates, UNH and Washington College (MD) on Lake Quinsigamond beginning at 8am.
