Worcester, MA --- Men’s crew competed against Trinity, Bates, UNH, Washington College, Connecticut College, Ithaca and Colby on Lake Quinsigamond Saturday morning. 

The varsity eight of Connor McGrath (Troy, NY), Scott Gary (Lubbock, TX), Neil Lettenberger (Oakland, ME), Andrew Sandefer (New Orleans, LA), Nick Vitello (Tolland, CT), Paul Beckwith (Worcester, MA), Tobin McGee (Rye, NY), Berk Birand (Istanbul, Turkey) and coxswain Bethany Bouchard (Nashua, NH) finished third with their time of 6:13.25 while the novice four placed second behind Connecticut College in 7:28.45.  The varsity four finished in 7:19.25 to finish third while the second varsity rowed to a second place spot (6:27.95).

On Sunday, the varsity eight (same eight as Saturday) with Amanda Gagne (Fitchburg, MA) as the coxswain) placed second with their time of 6:05.88 while the second varsity eight also placed second (6:18.41).  The men’s novice eight rowed to a second place finish (6:59.20) and the varsity four wrapped up the meet with a fifth place spot (7:29.34). 

Men’s crew faces off against Coast Guard and UMass on Sunday beginning at 8am on Lake Quinsigamond.
