Lowell, MA --- For the first time under ninth-year head coach Larry Nobel, the Engineers won a major fall regatta when the Varsity Eight and Varsity Four took the gold medals at the Textile River Regatta in Lowell.

The Varsity Eight included coxswain Bethany Bouchard (Nashua, NH), Connor McGrath (Troy, NY), Scott Gary (Lubbock, TX), Neil Lettenberger (Oakland, ME), Tobin McGee (Rye, NY), Nick Vitello (Tolland, CT), Andrew Sandefer (New Orleans, LA), Arthur Gager (Kennebunk, ME) and Berk Birand (Istanbul, Turkey) while the Varsity Four included coxswain Brenna Colleary (Southboro, MA), Gager, Sandefer, Jeffrey Onderdonk (Colechester, CT), and McGee. In addition, another strong performance came from Second Varsity Eight.

After a weekend off, the Crimson and Gray will host Quinsigamond Head Race on Sunday, October 14th
