Boston, MA --- Men’s crew competed at the highly competitive Head of the Charles last weekend.

WPI saw some outstanding performances beginning with the Club Eight’s 12th place finish on Saturday. The club eight comprised of coxswain Brenna Colleary (Southboro, MA), Neil Lettenberger (Oakland, ME), Sebastian Cohn (Orinda, CA), Drew Oprea (Hicksville, NY), Henry Moore (Jaffrey, NH), Erik Khzouz (New Canaan, CT), Max French (Harwinton CT), Drew Domnarski (Pawcatuck, CT) and Evan May (Marshfield, MA) finished the course in 15:59.700 to beat out 57 other boats, including several Division I programs.

On Sunday, the varsity eight of coxswain Bethany Bouchard (Nashua, NH), Connor McGrath (Troy, NY), Scott Gary (Lubbock, TX), Arthur Gager (Kennebunk, ME), Tobin McGee (Rye, NY), Nick Vitello (Tolland, CT), Andrew Sandefer (New Orleans, LA), Jeffrey Onderdonk (Colechester, CT) and Berk Birand (Istanbul, Turkey), and rowed to an impressive 12th place finish (15:43.107) amongst 42 boats.

Next weekend, members of the WPI crew team will compete at the Quinsigamond Invitational for Novice Crews on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, MA.
