Carroll, Hayes, Moan, Tabrizi and Rosen Tabbed NEWMAC All-Academic
Babson Park, MA --- The 2009 New England Women's and Men's Conference Men's Soccer Academic All-Conference Team was announced on Wednesday. This squad includes Tyler Carroll, Rens Hayes, Paul Moan, and Keeon Tabrizi, and Matt Rosen. The five members selected is the second highest amount of any conference team.

Zajac, Hayes and Hopkins Tabbed Men's Soccer All-NEWMAC
Babson Park, MA --- WPI men's soccer seniors Tommy Zajac and Rens Hayes and freshman Jason Hopkins have earned All-NEWMAC honors following voting by conference coaches on Tuesday. Zajac garnered first team accolades while Hayes and Hopkins were selected to the second team. Zajac closed out a standout career for the Engineers this fall. The midfielder was first on the team with seven assists and second in points with 11.

Men's Soccer Sees Season Come to an End with Loss to Babson in NEWMAC Semifinals
Babson Park, MA --- Jimmy Stento scored one goal and assisted another to help lift top-seeded host Babson to a 2-1 victory over visiting fourth seed WPI in the semifinals of the 2009 NEWMAC Men's Soccer Tournament at Hartwell-Rogers Field on Saturday. WPI, whose goal was scored by Thomas Cucinotta on an assist by Tommy Zajac in the 81st minute, finishes its season with a record of 10-7-1.
