Worcester, MA - WPI men’s soccer midfielder Ben Gilde has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America second team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (Co-SIDA). A year ago, Gilde was the only sophomore to garner third team All-America honors.

Babson Park, MA - Three WPI student-athletes have been selected to the 2007-08 NEWMAC Men’s Soccer All-Academic Team. The Engineers had the fourth most athletes honored behind MIT (13), Springfield (6), and Babson (6).

Ben Gilde Receives Men's Soccer All-NEWMAC Second Team Honors
Babson Park, MA - WPI men’s soccer midfielder Ben Gilde has been named to the All-NEWMAC second team on voting by conference coaches on Tuesday. Gilde has now earned the distinction of being named all-conference for the second straight year.

Worcester, MA - WPI men’s soccer midfielder Ben Gilde has been named to the ESPN The Magazine All-District I first team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (Co-SIDA). Gilde was also selected first team All-District I last season en route to being named a third team All-American.
