Women's Swim-Diving Loses to Coast Guard 88-136

New London, CT --- Morgan Guardino (Manchester, CT) set a school record in three meter diving (216.0) and won the one meter event (185.20), but it was not enough as WPI fell to powerful Coast Guard 130-83.
Jodi Lowell and Julie Buffam (Westfield, MA) combined for first (5:56.39) and second (6:36.55) place in the 500-yard freestyle, respectively while Vanessa Walton (Bow, NH) took a first place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with her time of 1:25.16.
The 400-yard freestyle relay comprised of Danielle Sorenson (Reno, NY), Hallie Schiess (Wilmont, NH), Lowell, and Amanda Jenkins (Columbia, CT) combined to win the event and record the fastest non-tapered time in school history. Sorenson also took a second place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with her time of 59.26.
WPI takes a break until December 8th when they host Norwich beginning at 4:30pm.
