Smithfeld, RI --- The WPI Women's Swimming and Diving team dropped a 172-80 decision to Bryant on Saturday. With the loss, the Crimson an Gray fall to 1-6 on the season.
Jodi Lowell (Layard, CT) placed second in two different events, earning a time of 11:55.34 in the 1000 yard freestyle and 5:50.79 in the 500 freestyle. Allison Elder (North Adams, MA) turned in a pair of strong performances, finishing fifth in the 1000 yard freestyle (12:48.52) and 100 backstroke (1:18.28).
The Engineers will travel to UMass-Dartmouth on Thursday for a 7pm meet before hosting Brandeis on Saturday at Clark at 5pm.
