Trinity 174, WPI 109 

Hartford, CT - WPI dropped a 174-109 decision to Trinity in women's swimming and diving action on Saturday.  With the loss, WPI falls to 1-9 on the season.

Danielle Sorenson (Reno, NV) shined in the defeat as she prevailed in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:45.11) before winning the 200-yard IM (2:32.68).  Morgan Guardino (Manchester, CT) dominated on the boards as she dove to a first place finish in one meter (227.84) before claiming the top spot in three meter (233.55).  Wrapping up WPI's top finishes was the 200-yard freestyle relay team comprised of Amanda Jenkins (Columbia, CT), Chelsea Bierkan (Allison Park, PA), Sorenson, and Jodi Lowell (Ledyard, CT) who combined for a 1:52.30 finish.

Swimming and diving returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to UMass-Dartmouth for a meet beginning at 7pm.
