Men's Indoor Track and Field Takes Fourth at Reggie Payau Invitational
Waltham, MA - The WPI Men's Indoor Track and Field team placed fourth out of nine teams at the Reggie Poyau Invitational hosted by Brandeis University on Saturday.
Scott Sideleau (Winchendon, MA) won WPI's only event of the day with a throw of 48-2 to win the weight throw event. Sideleau's victory provided him with a spot in the ECAC Championships held in early March. Senior Matt Bradley (Atkinson, NH) took a second place finish in the pole vault (13-3) while Ben Roy (Buxton, ME) placed second in the 55 meter hurdles (8.01). Distance runner Isaiah Janzen (Sabetha, KS) rounded out WPI's top performances with his third place spot in the 5000 meter run (16:25.63).
WPI returns to action on January 27th when it competes at the Wesleyan Invitational beginning a 10:00am.
