Cambridge, MA ---The WPI Women's Track and Field competed at the MIT Invitational on Saturday.  The Crimson and Gray posted some outstanding times and distances in the non-scoring meet. 

Koren Roach (Plymouth, NH), Phoebe Riley (Pomfret, CT), and Meghan Woods (Hanover, MA) all turned in strong performances and each earned a spot at the New England Division III Championships held this coming weekend at the University of Southern Maine.  Roach (27.29) and Riley (28.05) qualified in the 200 meter dash while Woods will be competing in the one mile run (5:17.64).  Megan Murphy (Perkasie, PA) qualified for the ECAC Championships to be held in early March with her time of 2:21.5 in the 800 meter run. 

Several of the team's athletes will compete at the New England Division III Championships beginning on Friday.
