Northampton, MA --- WPI Women's Track and Field sent four athletes to the New England Division III Championships at Smith College on Saturday. 

Sophomore Stacy Rudolf (Somers, CT) grabbed the top finish of the day for the Engineers with her sixth place finish in the pentathlon.  Rudolf earned 2536 points throughout the five event competition and garnered All-New England honors for her performance.  Junior Meghan Woods (Hanover, MA) ran to a 14th place finish in the 1,000 meter run with her time of 3:08.22.  

Wrapping up the day for WPI were sophomores Liz Schreiber (Ashfield, MA) and Danielle Volpe (Chelmsford, MA) who took home 24th (1:03.94) and 28th (1:05.66) place in the 400 meter dash, respectively. 

Woods will be competing in the 1,000 meter run at the ECAC Championships at Harvard University on Saturday, March 8th.
