Arredondo, Throwers Lead Men's Track and Field to Win at Tartan Invitational
Northampton, MA --- Senior thrower Jarrett Arredondo won both the weight throw and shot put, leading an impressive showing from the throwers in WPI Men's Track and Field's victory at the Tartan Invitational hosted by Smith College on Saturday. WPI recorded a meet-best 183.5 points en route to winning the Tartan Invitational for the third time in the last four years.

Baker Sets Record as Women's Track & Field Places Third at Tartan Invitational
Northampton, MA --- Thrower Krista Baker set a new WPI record in the weight throw and freshman sprinter Noelle Richard won two events, leading Women's Track and Field to a third-place showing at the Tartan Invitational hosted by Smith on Saturday. The Engineers closed out the day with 109.5 points, just behind Worcester State and event winner Amherst.

Men's Track and Field Performs Well at BU Terrier Invitational
Boston, MA --- Men's Track and Field was back in action on Saturday, competing against several Division-I, II and III programs at the BU Terrier Invitational. There was no team scoring at the event. The Engineers featured several strong performances, led by top-15 finishes from senior thrower Fran Collins, senior sprinter Ben Roy and junior jumper Matija Zelic.

Pearce and Hewey Post WPI Records at BU Terrier Invitational
Boston, MA --- Women's Track and Field competed at the BU Terrier Invitational on Friday and Saturday, posting several strong performances against competition from all three NCAA divisions. There was no team scoring at the meet. Pole vaulter Emily Pearce and distance runner Vicky Hewey each set WPI records to lead the Crimson and Gray.
