Deschene Receives Selection to NEWBA Senior All-Star Team

Northampton, MA --- Senior point guard Natasha Deschene (Presque Isle, ME) was named to the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) All-Senior team this week. Deschene averaged 7.3 ppg and led WPI in assists at 3.1 per game this season.
Deschene piloted the Engineers to a 24-6 record this season, as well as the NEWMAC regular season title and the ECAC New England Region Tournament championship. Last week, she received her third consecutive NEWMAC All-Academic team selection as she wrapped up her collegiate playing career in impressive fashion.
The New England Women's Basketball Association provides support for coaches from the New England Region. Membership in NEWBA is open to all Division III head coaches from the region who have a vested interest in the welfare of the organization.
