Worcester, MA --- The women’s varsity eight rowed to a fourth place finish at the NEWMAC Championships held on Worcester’s Lake Quinsigamond. 

The team comprised of Corinne Linderman (Alexandria, VA), Stephanie Miskell (North Tonawanda, NY), Liz Marcks (Hingham, MA), Amanda Ruksznis (Sidney, ME), Kyla Bye-Negal (Hanua, Germany), Laura Rocket (Pembroke, MA), Molly Dingle (Charlton, MA), Katie Siering (Sheridan, OR) and coxswain Allison DiNitto (Wakesfield, MA) rowed the course in a time of 7:27.56 to finish ahead of Wellesley and Clark. 

On Sunday, women’s crew competed against RIT, Washington College, William Smith and Tufts.  The varsity eight grabbed WPI’s only finish of the meet, a fourth place finish with their time of 7:05.21.
