Boston, MA --- The varsity eight of the women’s crew team competed at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta last weekend.

The boat, consisting of coxswain Allison DiNitto (Wakefield, MA), Katie Siering (Sheridan, OR), Lindsay Wood (Fairfield, CT), Amanda Ruksznis (Sidney, ME), Bridget Stevens (Cropseyville, NY), Laura Tracy (Pepperell, MA), Angie Wzorek (Westfield, MA), Laura Rockett (Pembroke, MA) and Kyla Bye-Nagle (Hanua, Germany) placed 30th of 44 teams with their time of 18:53.611.

The regatta marks the end of the fall season for women’s crew. The Engineers will open its Spring season on Saturday, April 5th when they compete against Wesleyan, Colby and Smith at Quinsigamond State Park beginning at 8am.
