Worcester, MA ---  WPI Women's Crew competed versus Trinity, Wesleyan, Connecticut College, Clark and Bowdoin in an impromptu race on Saturday morning.  The varsity four came away with a second place finish while the second four finished in fourth. 

The varsity four of Amanda Ruksznis (Sidney, ME), Kyla Bye-Nagel (Hanau, Germany), Bridget Stevens (Cropseyville, NY), Katie Siering (Sheridan, OR) and coxswain Allison DiNitto (Wakefield, MA) crossed the finish line with a time of 8:06.60. 

The second four combination of Laura Rockett (Pembroke, MA), Stephanie Kavrakis (Long Beach, NY), Simone Staley (Albany, NY), Chelsea Brown (Utica, NY) and coxswain Penny Gikas (North Andover, MA) registered a 8:32.30 mark. 

Women's Crew will return to the water on Sunday May 4th when they compete at the New England Four Championships.
