Worcester, MA --- WPI Women's Crew competed at the New England Rowing Championships on Saturday on Worcester's Lake Quinsigamond. 

Juliana Wakeman (Saratoga Springs, NY), Suzanna Kelley (Attleboro, MA), Cate Simoneau (Greenwich, NY), Colyer Sigety (Tampa, FL), Victoria Stutz (Trumbull, CT), Caitlin Quinn (Apoa Air Force Base), Mary Hesler (Glastonbury, CT), Cailin Folta (Swampscott, MA) and cox Holly Fletcher (Dartmouth, MA) of the Novice Eight rowed to WPI's top finish on the day with their third spot (7:31.62).

WPI's Varsity Four of Katie Siering (Sheridan, OR), Bridget Stevens (Cropseyville, NY), Steph Kavrakis (Long Beach, NY), Simone Staley (Albany, NY) and Brianna Ledwith (Jericho, VT) also had a strong outing, taking home fourth (7:49.2) for the Crimson and Gray.

Both boats will be back in action next weekend at the ECAC Championships in Camden, NJ
