      <description>Centerville, MA --- The ECAC has selected WPI senior Suzanna Kelley (Attleboro, MA) as a member of the 2012 National Invitational Rowing Championships All-Conference Team as recently announced. elley, along with classmate Mary Hesler headlined the Engineer contingent on the ECAC All-Academic team.  To be eligible for the academic squad student-athletes must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter-winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35.</description>

Joining Kelley honors for the second consecutive year were juniors Emily Johnson, Amy Loomis and Macauley Kenney while sophomores Elisabeth Boulanger and Victoria Stratton were recognized for the first time.</description>

The pair were chosen to the at-large team, which includes athletes from bowling, crew, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming and diving, tennis and water polo, and both proceed to the All-America ballot.</description>

      <title>Women's Crew Claims a Pair of Petite Finals at ECAC Invitational</title>

      <description>Worcester, MA --- WPI Women&#x2019;s Crew continued its strong late season run by winning a pair of petite finals and finishing second in another at the ECAC Invitational on Lake Quinsigamond on Friday.   The Crimson and Gray took home wins in the varsity eight and the third varsity eight while the second varsity placed second after an outstanding row in the morning.    The varsity eight just missed the grand final as they finished third in the morning heat behind eventual champion Williams and Ithaca (by under 2.5 seconds).</description>

      <description>Worcester, MA -- The WPI Women&#x2019;s Crew team kicked off the spring portion of its 2011-2012 schedule on Sunday as it hosted strong regatta on Lake Quinsigamond. The women&#x2019;s varsity eight race itself featured three schools (Bates, Wellesley and Trinity) that placed boats in the top seven of the 2011 NCAA Division III championships and Division I Holy Cross.  WPI's entry of placed sixth with a time of 7:42.0.   Bates took gold in a time of 7:13.4, over six seconds clear of Trinity.</description>
