Bristol, RI --- Wrestling opened its season on Saturday posting 44.5 points to finish ninth at the 16th Annual Roger Williams University Invitational Tournament. Carl Anderson (Billerica, MA) defeated Jay Mahoney of Roger Williams University 7-3 to finish fifth in the 125 pound weight class while Lawrence Loomis (Plainfield, CT) defeated Chris Mixon 17-3 to take fifth place in the 174 pound weight class. Roman Walsh (Wilmington, MA) finished sixth in the 141 pound class.

Wrestling competes at the SUNY-Oneonta Invitational on Saturday beginning at 9:30am.
