Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Coach Rowell begins his seventh season as assistant coach for the women's soccer team. A former standout with the men's program, he currently specializes in working with the goaltenders.

A Charlestown, RI native, Rowell played soccer under the tutelage of head men's coach Malcolm MacPherson. He was a three-year starter in net, playing in 40 games while posting a 1.81 goal allowed average with 192 saves.

In 1999 Rowell had his best season, posting an 8-7-1 record with five shutouts. He registered a 1.83 GGA while notching 74 saves. He graduated the following May with a degree in Computer Science. He enrolled in graduate school at WPI and used his fourth and final season of eligibility in 2000, when he was a tri-captain.
