It was the Lyons second win in a row and first in league play this season.

Holyoke, MA - Setter Nikki Croteau (Wilbraham, MA) paced WPI by notching 24 assists and registering an impressive six kills in six attempts while leading the Engineers to a 3-0 victory over Bay Path in non-conference womens volleyball action on Thursday evening. The Boynton Hillers won by game scores of 30-14, 30-14, and 30-17.

In the conference nightcap, Rose Zhong tallied an Institute-record 13 aces, with 10 occurring during the opening frame, and added a team-high 12 digs.

Worcester, MA - WPI volleyball player Jennifer Parker (Rochester, MA) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine All-District 1 first team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (Co-SIDA). Parker, who now advances to the national ballot, is just one of six players to be named first team in District 1, which is made up of all Division II and III schools in New England and New York.
