Heather Baker begins her second year as assistant women's volleyball coach at WPI. Heather enjoyed a standout career as a middle hitter at Bentley College.
Baker began her career as Northeast-10 Rookie of the Year 1990. She was named to the All-Northeast 10 First team in her and AVCA Division II All-Northeast Region team in her junior year. Baker, finished up her career by winning Bentley's distinguished scholar athlete award in 1993.
Baker graduated from Bentley in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and earned her Masters in Elementary Education in 1996.
Her volleyball coaching experience includes a stint as assistant coach at Division I Holy Cross.
Baker and her family currently reside in Worcester.
