Five WPI Women's Volleyball Teammates Selected to the NEWMAC All-Academic Team
Babson Park, MA - Five out of the eleven members on the WPI women’s volleyball team have been named to the 2007-08 NEWMAC All-Academic Team. The Engineers were tied with MIT for the second most student-athletes honored and were slightly edged out by Mount Holyoke (6).

WPI Volleyball Ends Season With 3-1 Loss To Babson
Worcester, MA - Senior hitter Carlen Palau accounted for game-highs of 18 kills and 15 digs to help Babson secure a NEWMAC Tournament bid by defeating host WPI 3-1 in conference volleyball action on Saturday afternoon. The Beavers took the match by games scores of 30-18, 30-13, 28-30 and 30-19.

Worcester, MA - Junior outside hitter Aleyne Ilkson notched a double-double to help Springfield defeat host WPI 3-0 in NEWMAC women’s volleyball action on Tuesday evening. The Pride took the match by games scores of 30-13, 30-18 and 30-24.
