Volleyball Sees Breakthrough Season Come to End with Loss at Wellesley
Wellesley, MA --- Wellesley volleyball advanced to the NEWMAC semifinals with a 3-0 win over WPI this evening at Keohane Sports Center. The Engineers close out their season at 22-8. The 22 wins are the fourth most in program history and the highest in 21 years. Wellesley, 21-9 overall, will face Springfield in the NEWMAC semifinals at 7:30 Friday evening at MIT.

Volleyball's Senior Day Victory Earns NEWMAC Tournament Bid
Worcester, MA --- Bailey Sarber tallied 19 kills and 16 digs to lift WPI to a thrilling 3-2 victory over visiting Wheaton in a key NEWMAC volleyball match-up on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Engineers earn the final spot in the NEWMAC Tournament, qualifying for the postseason for the first time since 2005.

Balanced Effforts Keys Volleyball in Road Win at Becker
Leicester, MA --- Eight different WPI players tallied multiple kills en route to a 3-0 road win over Becker in non-conference volleyball action on Thursday night. The Engineers, 21-7 overall and winners of 19 of 20 non-conference matches this season, took the win by scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-9. Becker slips to 9-16 on the year.

Volleyball Drops NEWMAC Contest to Springfield 3-0
Worcester, MA --- Becca Holmberg led with a team-best five kills as Volleyball fell to host Springfield 3-0 in NEWMAC Volleyball action Tuesday evening. Belinda Nwagbara, Bailey Sarber, and Elyssa Dorenfeld each added four kills. Kim Woodward handed out 18 assists and Joan Porambo recorded eight digs on the evening.
