Dartmouth, MA - Senior Pat Benson (Foxboro, MA) covered UMass Dartmouth's five mile course in 26:14 to take a 35th place finish and lead WPI to a 12th place finish at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.

Junior Kevin Jillson (East Sandwich, MA) was WPI's second runner in 42nd (26:24) while co-captain Chris McCann (Haverhill, MA) placed 83rd (27:20).  Sophomore Peter Brown (Andover, MA) took an 87th (27:32) place finish while Eugene Douglas (Concord, NH) and Daniel Duffty (Haverhill, MA) combined to finish 92nd (27:43) and 93rd (27:45), respectively.  Co-captain Keith Flanders (Westford, MA) was the seventh finisher for the Crimson and Gray in 120th (28:30). 

WPI will run at the Worcester City Meet hosted by Worcester State next Saturday beginning at 10:30am.
