Lincoln, RI --- Junior Meghan Woods (Hanover, MA) ran to a second place finish to lead WPI to second place overall at the Tri-State Invitational held at the Community College of Rhode Island. 

Woods saw two of her teammates place in the top ten with an eighth place finish (21:56) from Michelle Maurice (Wolcott, CT) and a ninth place finish (22:01) from Catie Casey (Plymouth, MA).  Sophomore Beth Hegarty (Springfield, MA) grabbed the 12th spot (22:19) while Anne Rocheleau (Shrewsbury, MA), Jen Keating (Winchester, MA) and Faith Gilmore (Methuen, MA) took home 14th (22:21), 24th (23:15) and 34th (23:40) place finishes respectively. 

Women's Cross Country hosts its Alumni Race on Saturday beginning at 10am.
