Worcester, MA --- Sophomore Chris Gabrielson has been named as the NEWMAC Men's Runner of the Week after his second place finish at the Tri-State Invitational this past weekend.

A native of Westford, MA, Gabrielson finished the 8K race with a time of 27:05. With his second place finish the Engineers have won their second strait meet and the Tri-State Invitational for the second year in a row.

Gabrialson also garnered NEWMAC Runner of the Week honors last week after his second place finish in the Worcester City Meet.

The men's cross country team hits the trail on Saturday when they host their annual Alumni meet at 10am.
