Northampton, MA --- Junior Megan Woods (Hanover, MA) finished 24th (20:22) to help pace WPI to a ninth place finish at the NEWMAC Women’s Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon. The meet was held at Smith College.

Senior Catie Casey (Plymouth, MA) placed 69th with a time of 20:28. Junior Jen Keating (Winchester, MA) crossed the line in 77th (22:48) while freshman Michelle Maurice (Wolcott, MA) finished right behind her in 78th (22:50). Junior Marissa Gray (Stanley, NY, 23:05), sophomore Beth Hagarty (Springfield, MA, 23:11), and sophomore Anne Rocheleau (Shrewsbury, MA, 24:27) each placed 86th, 96th, and 102nd respectively.

WPI will compete in the ECAC Championships this Saturday at 11am. The meet will be hosted at Williams.
