Waterford , CT --- Junior Megan Woods (Hanover, MA, 23:32) crossed the finish line in 85th place to help the WPI women’s cross country squad finish 27th at the NCAA Division III New England Regionals on Saturday afternoon at Harkness Park in Waterford , CT. The Engineers finished seventh out of the 10 NEWMAC institutions in the event, which was hosted by Connecticut College.

Sophomore Beth Hagarty (Springfield, MA, 25:36) placed 171st while freshman Michelle Maurice (Wolcott, CT, 25:49) finished 185th. Senior Catie Casey (Plymouth, MA, 25:49), Marissa Gray (Stanley, NY, 26:49), and Anne Rocheleau (Shewsbury, MA, 26:56) each finished the 6k event in 186th, 222nd, and 239th, respectively. Junior Jen Keating (Winchester, MA, 26:56) rounded out the top seven with a 240th finish for the Crimson and Gray.

This meet concludes the season for the WPI women’s cross country team.
