The 2022 campaign will mark the second season as an assistant field hockey coach at WPI for Chris Pothier.

Chris joined the field hockey program as an assistant coach with a plethora of background in field hockey expanding across analytic and managerial experience for USA Team Events, competing for the men’s USA national indoor team, and serving as owner and director of the Cape Ann Field Hockey Club.

Pothier clocks into his 14th year competing for the USA Men’s National Indoor team in addition to previously contributing as an analyst and manager for USA Team Events that spanned overseas. From 2012-14 he won 25 games as the head coach at Worcester State;

Chris currently lists as an emergency medical dispatcher for the Rutland Regional Communications Center, owner and director of the Cape Ann Field Hockey Club, and director for Super Sixty Sports Camps. 

Pothier obtained a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Southern Maine (2010) and is pursuing a master’s degree in Emergency Management from the University of Southern New Hampshire.
