Oneonta, NY --- Senior Hayley Poskus (Middleboro, MA) and sophomores Sydney Seo (North Andover, MA), Cailin Gonyea (Southbridge, MA) and Jillian Clemente (Killingworth, CT) each had a pair of top individual performances as the WPI women's swimming & diving team defeated host Hartwick, 172-113, Saturday in the Sally Griffiths Herbert '88 Aquatics Center.

The Engineers conclude the dual meet portion of the schedule with an 8-8 mark to extend the program's streak of .500 or better seasons to eight. The Class of 2018 (35-23) accounts for nearly half of Head Coach Paul Bennett's 75 women's victories. He now has 178 between the men and women.

Poskus totaled 219 points in the 1-meter dive and 194.55 in the 3-meter dive. The latter featured only WPI entrants. Seo swept the 100- and 200-yard backstrokes with times of 1:02.41 and 2:17.09 while Gonyea took both distance freestyles with a 5:34.00 in the 500 and an 11:16.50 in the 1,000. Clemente won the 200-yard butterfly (2:15.86) and touched the wall first in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.16).

Seo also teamed with senior Allysa Grant (Framingham, MA), sophomore Alice Morgan (Cornwall, NY) and freshman Audrey Berner (San Jose, CA) to open the afternoon with a winning-time of 1:55.81 in the 200-yard medley relay. Grant struck gold in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.04) as Berner came home second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:01.76) to go with third-place finishes in the 50 (25.53) and 100 (56.23).

Morgan, who swam the first leg of the quickest 200-yard freestyle relay, teamed with sophomore Carol Wang (Framingham, MA), senior Jamie Freud (Amherst, NH) and sophomore Sofie de Oliveira (Portland, ME) to hand in a time of 1:46.17.

Freshman Molly Silsby (Augusta, ME) won the 200-yard breaststroke while sophomore Olivia Hanson (Anchorage, AK) clocked the fastest 200-yard IM (2:20.44).
