Now in his second year on the WPI coaching staff, Ben Hammond brings 36 years of swimming experience to Boynton Hill.
Hammond possesses a strong aquatic background with emphasis on different training abilities including dryland and weight training, in addition to, experience coaching with a variety of age groups spanning from youth to masters-level swimmers.
Ben currently serves as a swimming coach, WSI Instructor, and lifeguard, for Jewish Community Center Worcester. Hammond additionally contributes to the Worcester Area Masters (WAM) swim team as a masters swimmer and board member.
Ben Hammond swam for Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in general studies with minors in coaching and interpersonal relations.
