2022-2023 marks the fourth season at WPI as an assistant track and field coach for Jason Weber. Weber oversees the success of the jumps squad, including the pole vault and combined events.

Despite the global pandemic, Coach Weber's group experienced tremendous success during the 2021 outdoor season, enroute to helping both the men's and women's programs win the NEWMAC Championship. He saw two of his athletes set new program-best marks, including Abby McGahey in the triple jump (11.66m/38-3) and Katy Nippert in the long jump (5.54m/18-2.25). Each would go on to win their respective events at the NEWMAC Championship. He also helped guide senior, Elizabeth Kirschner to the second highest point total in the heptahlon in program history. A feat that earned her All-Region distinction by the USTFCCCA, along with Andrew Sifferlen (decathlon) and Bridget Wirtz (pole vault). Finally, his men's high jump squad would finish the season with the 8th highest clearance average (1.91m/6-3.25) in all of NCAA Division III.

In his first year with the program, Weber saw his vaulters perform at a championship level, qualifying three men and one woman for the Division III New England Championships. He helped guide Johann Bradley '21 not only to the New England title, with a new school record (4.85m/15-11) but Bradley would go on to earn All-American honors, the first for the men's program in that event.

Weber arrived at Boynton Hill after an impressive 13-year stint as an assistant at Westfield State.  At WSU he coached men’s and women’s school record holders in the pole vault with jumps of 16-5.50 and 12-9.50.  Weber also has coached 32 men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor pole vault champions, including the conference record holders in both the men and women’s indoor and outdoor championships. In all he coached 10 NCAA qualifiers and NCAA All-Americans in the pole vault (2012 men's outdoor, 2013 men's indoor) and (women’s 2018 outdoor).

No stranger to the NEWMAC, Weber earned his undergraduate degree in business from Springfield  He was a four-year member of the Springfield College track and field team, competing in the 55 and 100 meter dashes, as well as the 400 meter hurdles.  Weber also coaches at Patriot Pole Vault and is a founding member of Patriot Pole Vault West.

Weber holds a USATF Level 1 coaches certification, along with Jumping Event and Stength & Conditioning certification from the USTFCCCA.
