October 18, 2022PI volleyball team outlasted conference foe Mount Holyoke, 3-2, on the road on Tuesday night. The Engineers grabbed the marathon win 25-20, 23-25, 25-27, 25-22, 16-14 to move to 12-8 overall, 3-5 in NEWMAC play. Mount Holyoke falls to 8-11, 1-7 with the result.

October 15, 2022Rochester, NY --- The WPI volleyball team split a pair of matches on the final day of action at RIT’s Brick City Invitational. The Engineers (11-8) tallied a 3-1 win (25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 25-15) over the host Tigers (9-16), but fell 3-1 (25-21, 18-25, 25-22, 25-16) to St. John Fisher (14-6) in the nightcap.

Volleyball Outlasts Nazareth on Opening Night of RIT's Brick City Invitational
October 14, 2022Rochester, NY --- Olivia Deckers and Natalia Wierzbicki each reached double digits in kills and Catherine Reynolds doled out a match-best 40 assists as the WPI volleyball rallied from 1-0 and 2-1 deficits to defeat Nazareth 3-2 Friday night on the opening day of the Brick City Invitational at RIT. The Engineers won by set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 17-25, 25-21, 15-9.

Volleyball Splits at Gordon; Engineers Top Hosts, Fall to Colby
October 08, 2022Wenham, MA --- The WPI volleyball team split a pair of non-conference matches on the road at Gordon on Saturday. The Engineers opened the day with a 3-1 (27-25, 25-16, 16-25, 28-26) win over the hosts but fell 3-0 to Colby (25-23, 25-16, 25-22) in the second match. WPI improves to 9-7 on the season. Gordon dipped to 9-10 with the loss, while Colby improved to 9-4.

October 04, 2022Northampton, MA -- The WPI volleyball team got 13 kills each from Olivia Deckers and Maddie Sanborn as the Engineers recorded a 3-1 victory (25-23, 25-18, 20-25, 25-18) on the road at Smith on Tuesday night. With its second straight NEWMAC win, WPI improves to 8-6 overall, 2-5 in conference play. Smith dips to 13-6, 3-3 in the NEWMAC.

September 20, 2022Norton, MA --- WPI senior setter Catherine Reynolds totaled a career-best 11 kills en route to a triple-double but the Engineers found themselves on the wrong end of a 3-1 decision to host Wheaton in a NEWMAC volleyball match played on Tuesday. The Lyons captured the match by set scores of 26-24, 28-26, 18-25, 26-24.

July 26, 2022Springfield, MA -- The WPI volleyball team upset nationally recognized Springfield on the road on Saturday, sweeping the Pride 3-0 on their home court. The Engineers improve to 10-4, 2-4 NEWMAC, while Springfield, which received 144 votes in the latest AVCA National Poll, falls to 11-3, 3-3 NEWMAC.

NEWMAC Welcomes Salve Regina University as Newest Member Effective July 1, 2023
July 13, 2022Westwood, MA --- The New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) is thrilled to welcome Salve Regina University as its newest member institution following unanimous support from the NEWMAC Presidents Council. Salve Regina will become the conference’s 12th core member effective July 1, 2023 and will begin participating in conference play during the 2023-2024 academic year.
