2022-23 marks the 11th season for Miles Ketchum as part of the WPI track & field coaching staff, including his second as head coach and his ninth year with the Cross Country program.
Ketchum plays a pivotal role during the fall, as he develops the strength-training and instructs proper sprint mechanics for the cross country teams.
In 2017 Ketchum was elevated to full time status within the department and also serves as the head sprints & hurdles coach and coordinator of track & field.
During his award-winning campaign, Ketchum coached two NCAA qualifiers in the 100m hurdles and the 400m, two Academic All Americans, and saw six WPI school records in the women’s 100m hurdles, 400m, 400 hurdles 4x400m relay and for the men, 400m, and 4x100m relay.
A 2012 graduate of Wheaton (MA), Ketchum capped his collegiate career with All-America performance in the 4x400-meter relay to go along with NEWMAC titles in the 4x100 and 4x400 relay. He is certified by the USTFCCCA in the Sprints, Hurdles and Relays.
